‎Mr. Ovieteme George presented two prestigious awards he recently won to former President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency, Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan GCFR, during a courtesy visit in Yenagoa, the Bayelsa State capital.

‎The awards include the continental “Outstanding News Report” honour in Africa, bestowed by the African Media Awards in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, and the national “Reporter of the Year” award presented by the Broadcasting Organisation of Nigeria in Abuja.

‎Dr. Goodluck Jonathan expressed delight with Ovieteme’s progress as a reporter and prayed that these achievements, particularly his first continental recognition would motivate him to strive for even greater heights in the media profession.

‎He extend his heartfelt congratulations to Mr. Ovieteme George on the outstanding feat.
